Kick off the morning with coffee and breakfast at Jarro’s Café in Moorpark, giving everyone time to fuel up before we roll out. After topping off at the Chevron on Los Angeles Ave, we’ll debrief and stage for a 9:00AM KSU, heading North-West towards Ojai.

Our first major stop lands us at El Presidio de Santa Barbara State Historic Park, where we’ll stretch our legs and step directly into the early Spanish history of California. Most of the site can be explored for free unless we enter the museum, to which tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors. We will limit our time to no more than 1 hour. From there, we will catch a glimpse of Old Mission Santa Barbara before the ride turns scenic and technical as we climb Camino Cielo Road, ascending to nearly 4,000 feet above Santa Barbara. Expect sweeping ocean views, mountain ridgelines, and some of the most rewarding twisties in the region.

We’ll wrap the ride at our destination lunch stop at Cold Spring Tavern, a historic 1860s stagecoach stop tucked into the San Marcos Pass. With its Old West atmosphere, hearty American fare, and rustic charm, it’s the perfect place to cool down, eat well, and enjoy the atmosphere.
